Sully Premiere
September 6, 2016 marked the US premiere of the Warner Bros. film Sully, honoring pilot Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger who remarkably landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River. The film starring Tom Hanks as Captain Sully, premiered in New York with the celebration to follow at Tavern on the Green.
THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions teamed up with Warner Bros. to create the after party at the iconic New York restaurant in Central Park. Guests were welcomed into the space by gorgeous fall florals filled with lush greenery, orchids, calla lilies, roses, and hydrangea in hues of burgundy and plum. Indigo linens with gold embroidery were used to dress the tables and accent the existing aesthetic. Designer8*’s new Harlow Coffee & Side Tables made their debut to accent all the venue’s existing seating for the VIP’s.
With music spun by DJ Billy Erb, guests enjoyed the evening inside and out, underneath the sweeping string lights on the terrace.
