Trolls Fan Event

Herald Square was transformed into a colorful plaza overnight on Thursday, October 6, 2016 for the 2016 Trolls premiere.
Dreamworks and Fox, in partnership with Macy’s, held an event inclusive of giveaways and special surprise appearances to celebrate the upcoming Trolls movie, set to hit theaters on November 4.
THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, came on board to produce a lively and fun atmosphere for the Trolls event. A large crowd gathered well before the event began to see what surprised were in store for them. The rainbow colors used as décor along with the Trolls wigs passed out around Herald Square got the crowd excited for the show to come.
Anticipating a big surprise ahead, both kids and adults were all eagerly waiting for the event to begin. The event showcased the movie’s soundtrack with performances by the Central Park Dance Skaters Association (with choreography by Lynna Davis) to Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling and the new Ariana Grande song, They Don’t Know. The skaters were decked out in custom shiny sequin jackets and Troll wigs and roller skated on the custom painted silver glitter roller rink. Their crazy moves and roller skating tricks really pumped up the crowd. The highlight of the event was a special surprise appearance by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake who stopped to talk to the press and the massive crowd that gathered for the event (hosted by Garrett Vogel of Z100)!
Throughout the event, Baked by Melissa cupcakes and Sparkling Ice were onsite to provide treats for the audience to enjoy. The last surprise of the day was a Trolls Soundtrack giveaway to everyone who attended. Needless to say, it was a fun filled day had by all! And we look forward to watching the Trolls in action on screen!
