Trolls Premiere – The First Rainbow Carpet

On Sunday afternoon, October 23, the first ever rainbow carpet was brought to life for the Trolls premiere. Dreamworks and Fox teamed up with THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, in hopes of creating the most colorful premiere yet… And exactly that was achieved.
The rainbow striped carpet took over Westwood welcoming guests to the screenings held in the Regency Village Theatre and Bruin Theater. Guests were greeted by a 32’ wide and 11’ high silver entrance covered in moving metallic tiles which shimmered every time the breeze lightly blew. Life size character cut outs of Poppy, Branch, DJ Suki and Creek were set on the top of the entrance peeking down at the guests as they arrived to walk the carpet of the premiere.
The rainbow carpet included a 60’ Step & Repeat with colorful Trolls pods hung at different heights above to create dimension and fully immerse the guests in the Trolls rainbow carpet. Sisanie from KIIS FM emceed the event to get the fans and crowd excited for the movie while interviewing members of the cast. Soundtrack CDs and Trolls wigs were given away to the fans who showed up for the event. People of all ages had the colorful Trolls wigs on to get in the spirit of the movie.
Everywhere you looked, guests were happy and excited by all of the color from the rainbow carpet, celebrity appearances, and lively environment. It was fun filled afternoon had by all and needless to say, everyone “found their happy place” at this premiere!
