Hot Pursuit
On Thursday, April 30th, Warner Bros. premiered their newest film, Hot Pursuit in Hollywood. An uptight and straight-laced police officer (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the widow of a drug dealer (Sofía Vergara) as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.
THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, and the team once again transformed the Tropicana Pool and Bar at the Roosevelt Hotel. The team created a fun, feminine space tying in a Quinceañera scene from the movie. By covering the existing pool with a light beige carpet, we were able to allow for more space and provide more seating vignettes for our VIP guests. Bright turquoise, lime green and gold accents were used throughout the party hinting at the Quinceañera scene. We used Designer 8*’s Havana Seating Collection paired with the Chloe Coffee Table and turquoise, green and gold sequined pillows as well as the new Lloyd Bar. We brought in Peacock Blue and Lime Green linens as well as lighting in a mixture of hot pink and fuchsia using a rose breakup pattern to further enhance the feminine feel. Beautiful bar and buffet centerpieces consisted of lime green Hydrangeas, white Tulips, white Freesias, white Lisianthus, white Delphinium, and white Roses accented with long turquoise, lime green, and white ostrich feathers. Patron, a sponsor for this event, provided a photo booth with some very creative props, which was a fun surprise for all guests.
