Joy Premiere

On Sunday, December 13th, 2015, Fox released their latest film, Joy. This film tells the story of Joy Mangano (Jennifer Lawrence), a single mother who struggles to create a business empire after inventing the Miracle Mop.

Fox enlisted the help of THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, to create a red carpet and after party fit for this joyous occasion. Co-stars Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper joined Jennifer Lawrence on the navy blue carpet. Outside the Ziegfeld theater, a large white tent was constructed on the sidewalk to create an elegant and chic red carpet area. The entire tent was elegantly draped in sheer white fabric from floor to ceiling to create the perfect space to host this premiere. Large exposed bulb chandeliers were placed overhead to illuminate the already radiant cast. A 40-foot step and repeat was placed at the entrance of the carpet. The white step and repeat featured three navy blue 3D JOY logos that served as the centerpiece to the step & repeat. The bus shelters were floating down the remaining length of the carpet with brushed chrome frames.

Once the premiere had concluded, guests were directed to Cipriani’s for the after party. The party was lit in shades of gold and amber casting a warm glow around the gorgeous space. The Daphne Chandeliers (white spherical flower chandeliers) were suspended over the linen colored Elizabeth seating vignettes, creating an intimate setting for guests to mingle. The Lorenzo Bar was fixed in the center of the room. Atop the bar lay giant floral arrangements featuring a variety of white roses, intermixed with large leaf greenery. Guests en-joyed every minute of this elegant affair!
