National Geographic helped close out the 2020 TCA’s with their “EARTH DAY” themed reception at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. Guests were greeted by a custom-built National Geographic yellow archway with a collage of original Nat Geo animal photos. Nat Geo continued the earth day theme by recycling a custom 6’ globe made entirely of recycled trash bags on the opposite side of the venue entrance. Inside the venue, were a number of custom created features including a dramatic 12’ reclaimed tree centerpiece decorated with biodegradable bags, plastic cups and recycled glass bottles; a unique photo moment with living succulents on wood slat walls; and monitors with Nat Geo content running throughout. Guests enjoyed an oxygen bar with 12 different flavored aromas inside and telescopes set up on the terrace for stargazing. Décor included rich green velvet lounges, beautiful wood textured bars and custom pillows all from DESIGNER8* Event Furniture Rentals.
