Pan Premiere Party
In Warner Bros. newest movie Pan, 12 year old orphan Peter finds his way to Neverland, where he finds both fun and danger, and ultimately discovers his destiny – to become the hero who will forever be know as Peter Pan. The cast includes Peter (played by Levi Miller), Blackbeard (played by Hugh Jackman), Hook (played by Garrett Hedlund), Tiger Lili (played by Ronney Mara), and many more unforgettable characters.
For the U.S. Premiere, WB teamed up with THE FIRM, formerly known as Samantha Sackler Productions, to create the magical world of Pan at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. THE FIRM did a full transformation of what was originally a simple ballroom space located right on the Hudson. Our initial goal was to complete submerge guests within Neverland so we covered the space from head to toe with thousands of feet of colorful ribbon, hundreds of tall tropical plants and ground foliage, and tons of colorful ornate rugs. Everywhere you turned, there was something else for guests to discover.
As guests entered the space, the kids were given a gift bag and treasure map from real pirates. The treasure map outlined where all the activities were for kids within the space and even revealed how to get to the Pirate Ship right in front of the venue on the Hudson River. Kids dashed right to the multicolored, pirate themed candy buffet and then had, what seemed to be an endless amount of activities to tackle from there. These included Pirate & Fairy face painting, Tiger Lily’s Pom-Pom Necklace Making Station inspired by Tiger Lily’s beautiful headdress in the film, a Pixie Dust Bottling Station, the Pirate Photo Booth, and finally onto the Jolly Roger Pirate Ship for Nautical Knot Tying Lessons with Pirates.
