Often times, we are asked by couples, how to revitalize an old tradition into something fresh. Recently, we are seeing a trend cultivating in the event world. Many couples are wanting to get rid of the photo booth and replace it with something memorable. What better way than with a GIF photo booth!
Rather than partygoers posing for one picture, now they pose for four. The photos are then combined to create a looping photo video, which is called an Animated GIF. Similar to the Photo Booth, the props are still a major accent to this fun movement. Once the GIF is complete, your guest can immediately share the moment after it is taken. No more snapping a picture of your photo strip to your phone and then uploading it…its instantly yours! And an added bonus, you can still walk away with a printed copy. What sets the GIF Booth apart is that the Animated GIFs can loop on a plasma screen or projector to showcase the animations to guests at the party.
Frequently, we associate animated GIFs with marketing activations or corporate events, but we wanted to bring this energetic booth to the wedding industry. And why not? Nothing captures the moment like a GIF. Remember, a picture captures one point in time, a GIF captures a memory.
